Susa is an archaeological site, and a very lively village because of the devotion of the Shi'ites for the Prophet Daniel. In this antique city there are many foundations, disembedded tambours and piles of clay marking the outline of the palace which Darius had built.

Ahwaz

Ahwaz is the capital of Khouzestan in southwestern Iran. It
is one of the oldest cities of Iran and an important railroad junction.
Its population is approximately 2 million. It is about 40 miles (60
kilometers) away from Iran-Iraq border.
